Deep in the Heart of Big Bend - Petite Syrah Red Wine
Texas was built by men and women who embodied descarado attitudes and lived mythical lives. Descarado translated into English means brazen, brash, brassy and cheeky. Big Bend National Park was established on June 12, 1944. While the entire world was focused on a global war, residents from Texas gifted this unique part of Texas to the United States. Before being established as a National Park, the land was used for ranching, mining and military activities throughout the 18th and 19th centuries. By the 1930’s, a growing appreciation for the unique beauty and ecological significance of the area led to its protection. Descarado Wines honors our Texas history by hand crafting our wines to capture the brazen and brash culture of our great state.
